The Hillary Commission provides a generic Coach Accreditation Programme under the brand name "Coaching New Zealand".

Most clubs find it hard to attract and keep good coaches. This is a major
issue for sport in New Zealand, and the Hillary Commission will continue to provide
funds and training opportunities to strengthen sport coaching at all levels.
